Courtyard Anchorage Airport is seeking a reliable Hotel Van Driver to transport guests and luggage between the airport and hotel. The role offers both full-time and part-time options and emphasizes safe driving, courteous guest interactions, and staying calm in busy environments.

The ideal candidate will follow traffic regulations, assist guests, and communicate hotel services effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to participate in team operations are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
• Considerable skill in using a calculator to perform moderately complex mathematical calculations without error
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact and diplomacy
• Standing, bending and stooping may be required

Responsibilities

• Comprehends and abides by all traffic regulations while transporting guests to and from the airport terminal or other designated site.
• Lifts luggage, packages and boxes from cars, buses, vans and carts, placing items on the ground, onto baggage carts, conveyors or other vehicles.
• Listens, understands and responds to guest and associate inquiries and requests for assistance. Greets guests with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Remains calm and alert especially during emergencies or heavy hotel activity and handles complications from driving in the local community.
• Clearly communicates the features and services of the hotel facilities.
