Guest Services team members work to ensure a memorable experience for all Zoo & Aquarium visitors by providing superior customer service and making all guests feel welcome. Team members respond to guest inquiries, promote Zoo & Aquarium events, and assist other departments to help provide a seamless guest experience. Additionally, team members assist with maintaining the general cleanliness of the Zoo & Aquarium, helping to provide a safe and welcoming environment.
Admissions team members are responsible for initiating and completing admissions and membership sales transactions for Zoo & Aquarium visitors, greeting guests, and answering all inquiries regarding Zoo & Aquarium information. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Retail team members are responsible for initiating and completing merchandise/rental transactions with Zoo & Aquarium visitors, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking supplies, ensuring safe work conditions, and answering all inquiries for Zoo & Aquarium information. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Rides team members are responsible for the daily operation of rides, including the African Sky Safari, Endangered Species Carousel, African Tram, Kenyan Cruise, Flying Flamingo, and Kansas City Zoo Railroad. They are also required to follow proper safety and operational procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to:
