Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a friendly Guest Services Representative to welcome patients, assist with information needs, and help coordinate hotel accommodations and wayfinding within inpatient and outpatient areas.

You will report to the Manager of Guest Services and contribute to a smooth patient experience through professional greetings, needs assessment, and prompt direction. This is a temporary, on-site role with a 25-hour workweek and daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent.
• 0–6 months work experience is acceptable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Effectively assists patients in multiple areas by covering inpatient and outpatient Concierge units and information services areas.
• Professionally greets visitors and patients upon arrival and directs them accordingly.
• Meet key performance metrics for area and demonstrate compliance with policies and process.
• Demonstrates a commitment to problem resolution by embracing a creative approach and focusing on efficient and effective solutions to promote the desired outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
