Job summary

The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork with housekeeping and other departments, and promoting hotel services while maintaining security and accuracy in guest records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel/front desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service throughout their stay.
• Process arrivals, departures, reservations, payments, and guest requests accurately.
• Respond promptly to questions, concerns, and special requests.
• Resolve routine guest issues and escalations as needed.
• Maintain accurate guest information, records, and shift documentation.
• Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and other departments.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and guest opportunities.
• Follow cash-handling, security, privacy, and hotel procedures.
• Monitor the lobby and front desk to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Complete assigned shift responsibilities and maintain clear handoffs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As Guest Services Representative, you'll play an important role in supporting hotel operations, delivering exceptional service, and helping our team achieve its operational and business goals.

Job Purpose

The Front Office position is responsible for delivering welcoming, efficient, and professional service throughout the guest arrival, stay, and departure experience. This position assists guests with requests, reservations, payments, information, and service recovery while supporting smooth daily hotel operations.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods and move throughout the front office area.

• Use computers, phones, tablets, and standard office equipment for extended periods.
