Position Purpose and Summary

The Guest Services Representative ("GSR") position must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. This role involves assisting guests, answering phones, checking guests in and out, and collecting payments according to company guidelines. The GSR also handles daily front office paperwork and ensures safety and security procedures are followed for all associates and guests.

Major / Key Job Duties

  • Provide a 100% commitment to guest experience.
  • Respond to guest requests diligently.
  • Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process, embracing ESA's service culture.
  • Process reservations, check-ins, payments, and check-outs per guidelines.
  • Handle collection efforts and maintain cash, credit card, and ledger accounts.
  • Set up and dismantle breakfast displays timely.
  • Maintain an organized work area and guest areas.
  • Promote ESA to inquiries and convert them into reservations.
  • Gather guest information, identify sales opportunities.
  • Conduct property tours to ensure brand standards.
  • Assist with guest requests and provide accommodations when possible.
  • Follow all safety and security policies, report issues promptly.

Other Duties

  • Maintain hotel cleanliness and assist with housekeeping and laundry as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Compensation
