Job description

Position Purpose And Summary

The Guest Services Representative ("GSR") must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. Responsibilities include assisting guests, answering phones, checking guests in and out, collecting payments, and completing all necessary front office paperwork according to company guidelines. The GSR also ensures safety and security procedures are followed for all associates and guests.

Major / Key Job Duties
  1. Provide a 100% commitment to guest satisfaction.
  2. Respond to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
  3. Resolve guest issues using the Make it Right process, embracing ESA's service culture.
  4. Process reservations, check-ins, payments, and check-outs per guidelines.
  5. Manage collections of in-house balances and maintain cash, credit, and city ledger accounts.
  6. Set up, maintain, and dismantle breakfast displays timely.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Promote ESA to inquiries and convert them into reservations and bookings.
  9. Gather guest information, identify sales opportunities, and probe for leads.
  10. Conduct periodic property tours to ensure standards are met.
  11. Provide accommodations for guest requests whenever possible.
  12. Follow all safety, security, and company policies, including key control and reporting issues promptly.
Other Duties
  1. Maintain overall hotel cleanliness and assist with housekeeping and laundry as needed.
  2. Engage in cross-training to support various hotel areas.
  3. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
