Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking a Guest Services Staff member for the University of Wisconsin - Madison event. You will warmly welcome attendees, provide information, and support event operations to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience.

Role requires strong communication, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Prior customer service or hospitality experience is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary).
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Ability to stand, walk, and be active for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes attendees and provides outstanding customer service.
• Assists with event setup, signage placement, and related tasks.
• Monitors venues for cleanliness and policy compliance.
• Answers questions and shares information about the event and facilities.
• Guides guests to seating areas, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Addresses inquiries and resolves issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborates with staff, vendors and teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assists with crowd management to ensure a safe experience.
• Adheres to company policies and service standards.
