Job summary

Workstream is seeking a reliable Porter to ensure cleanliness and organization in Philadelphia. Responsibilities include assisting in the storefront and rear prep area, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining a safe environment.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and lift heavy objects. We offer a part-time or full-time position with benefits including employee discounts and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store front product display cases full and arranged in a customer pleasing fashion.
• Rotate perishable merchandise in the Walk-In refrigerator & Freezer.
• Unload delivery trucks each day.
• Place new merchandise in appropriate cold storage locations.
• Assist with pre & post production of prepared product.
• Prepare produce for sale according to expectations.
• Comprehensive cleaning of storefront product display cases.
• Sweep and mop storefront floors.
• Provide exceptional guest services by promptly addressing customer needs and concerns.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
