Job summary

Towne Park is seeking a Cashier who accurately collects and reconciles revenue while delivering exceptional hospitality to guests in a friendly, attentive and efficient manner.

The Cashier role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and the ability to work standard shifts (7:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm). Benefits include accident/critical illness/hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write standard English language.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Must be able to write simple correspondence.
• Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; use these operations with money.
• Understand 24 hour and military time systems.
• Understand rates applicable to time passed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients.
• Addresses guests using last names when appropriate and uses Towne Park phone etiquette.
• Assists guests with directions and inquiries about facilities and local attractions.
• Determines guest charges and processes payments; reconciles revenue and provides receipts.
• Completes accurate shift reports; operates cash registers, gates and credit card machines.
• Follows lead cashier directions and completes tasks in a timely manner.
