Job summary

NewSpring Church Spartanburg Campus is seeking a Guest Services Director to lead, pastor, and build a volunteer team, ensuring every guest experiences a welcoming environment aligned with the church's vision and Guest Services standards.

You will coach a leadership team of volunteers, coordinate with Safety and Campus Pastor teams, and manage weekly schedules (Sunday 7:30am–1:30pm, Mon–Thu 9am–5pm) to serve guests well.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Guest Services mission while aligning it with the overall vision of NewSpring Church.
• Embody NewSpring and Guest Services mission in personal life, as well as teach, model, and coach others to do the same.
• Build and pastor a leadership team of volunteers to care for, recruit and develop all volunteers in the Guest Services Ministry.
• Align Sunday Gathering environments with the Guest Services MPS.
• Review Guest Services metrics and use this as a resource to follow-up, encourage, etc.
• Utilize Rock to document communication and attendance for volunteers and guests to New Serve, New Here, and Serving Groups.
• Partner with Regional Safety Director in leading the Safety Area Leader to onboard, lead, and train Safety volunteers.
• Foster intercommunication between Ministries, Guest Services Support, and the Campus Pastor to make appropriate and vision aligned choices for the Spartanburg Campus.
• Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.

Role Description:

The Guest Services Director is responsible for leading, building, and pastoring a team to create a welcoming environment, aligning all guest services efforts with the church's vision and the Guest Services’ standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

Role Requirements:

• This role is full time 40 hours per week.


• This role is eligible to receive a housing allowance.


• A college degree is preferred.


• This role adheres to a standard schedule, knowing it may fluctuate at times & based on certain needs. Standard schedule is:
