Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. in Missouri is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to assist customers, bag purchases, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming for everyone who walks through the door.

In this role, you’ll help customers from the register to their car, assist in other departments as needed, and participate in team efforts to deliver great service. No education or experience is required; Hy-Vee provides all the training, and night or weekend shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and helping them as needed.
• Package customer purchases and assist customers in transporting them to their vehicle.
• Keep carts, store areas, and restrooms clean; sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, understand shelf tags, and locate items throughout the store.
• Help train new courtesy clerks and support multiple departments as requested.
