Meijer, Inc. in Indiana seeks an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to services provided by our store and to develop customer service skills.

Team members enjoy interaction with customers and strive to provide “above and beyond” service. You will support cart operations, cleaning, returns, and cooperation with multiple departments to ensure a smooth store experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for proper snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
