Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across our store, including customer service and operating procedures. You will be part of the Courtesy Team, engaging with customers and helping maintain a clean, organized shopping environment.

As a team member, you’ll perform tasks across departments, support service desks, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere while learning and growing within the Meijer family.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash in parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
