Job summary

Worlds of Fun is seeking a Guest Services Associate for the summer season. You will be the friendly face guests turn to for help, park information, and ticketing operations.

Prospective team members should enjoy helping people, be outgoing, and gain customer service experience in a lively park environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking with guests in person and over the phone.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in busy times.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Able to learn new computer systems and use them effectively.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and answer questions about the park.
• Sell tickets, season passes, and admissions products.
• Handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Respond to guest feedback and help find solutions in person, by phone, or online.
• Maintain a clean, friendly, welcoming work area.
• Use multiple computer systems to assist guests.
• Manage Lost and Found items and inventory.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience daily.
• Assist leadership with additional duties as needed.

What You'll Do

• Greet guests and help answer questions about the park
• Sell tickets, season passes, and other admissions products
• Handle transactions accurately and responsibly
• Listen to guest concerns or feedback and help find solutionsRespond to guests in person, by phone, or electronically
• Maintain a clean, friendly, and welcoming work area
• Use multiple computer systems to assist guests
• Manage Lost and Found items and inventory
• Help create a positive guest experience every day
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by leadership
