With 263 rooms, 38,000 square feet of event space, and 2 restaurants plus 3 bars, this is the new home for Washington, D.C.'s most consequential events, groundbreaking meetings, and unforgettable experiences.

Classification: Part-Time

Shift: Various – must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $30.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your tasks will include:

  1. Greet guests, complete registration, input and retrieve information from the computer, confirm guest details, select rooms, code electronic keys, promote marketing programs, provide a welcome packet, and ensure guests know their room location or have a bell person accompany them.
  2. Assist guests with check-out, ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for, handle payments, process credit and debit cards, accept various payment forms, convert foreign currency, make change, and process gift certificates and cards.
  3. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local area, and general product knowledge to answer guest questions.
  4. Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
  5. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, resolve issues in a friendly and efficient manner.
  6. Handle guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
  7. Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests.
