Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to oversee staff, greet guests, and ensure a positive shopping experience in our Connecticut store. You will supervise daily tasks, coach employees, and ensure cash processes, POS operations, and store policies are followed.

The role requires a high school diploma, flexible hours including days/nights weekends, and physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Reliable transportation is preferred for this position at our Ashford location.

Our Guest Service Supervisor (GSS) is responsible for accomplishing store objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes directed by management. Job Description

Supervise employees making sure they are performing all the job duties implemented by management. Coaching employees by giving them constructive feedback to help perform certain tasks. Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone. Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices. Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash levels (including employees being supervised). Ensure all store housekeeping functions are completed (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash etc.). Ensure the 24/7 execution of all guest service programs and processes. Responsible for all cash processes which includes deposit preparation, lottery, gift cards, and checks where applicable. Always replenishes products to ensure in-stock conditions. Address inquiries and complaints from guests. Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.

Additional Job Description

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends and or holidays.
• Must be efficient and organized.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for position.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and lift up to 25 lbs. during a shift.
• Work in intermittent temperatures (i.e., cooler, outside, etc.,).
• Must have reliable transportation.

$19.73 - $22.94
