Gervasi Vineyard in Canton, Ohio is seeking a full-/part-time Guest Service Specialist to join our hospitality team. You'll handle guest requests, reservations, billing knowledge, and front desk operations with a focus on exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Opera Cloud experience a plus but not necessary.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Hotel front office experience preferred.
• Customer relations experience, preferably in the Hospitality industry.
• Strong working knowledge of computer software such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Numeracy skills.
• Administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds quickly to guest requests and follows up to ensure satisfaction.
• Reports guest incidents to management in a timely manner.
• Maintains knowledge of reservations, billing systems, room inventory, rates, programs, and emergency procedures.
• Processes guest charges and completes reports before and after shifts.
• Maintains front desk supplies and security of equipment and keys.
• Reports needed repairs of unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
• Represents the brand professionally in appearance and dress.
• Follows company policies and procedures.

We are currently hiring Full-Time & Part-Time Guest Service Specialist.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responds quickly to requests from guests, supervisors, or management in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Reports all guest incidents to management in a timely and professional manner.
• Possesses knowledge of reservation and billing systems, maintains and controls room inventory and availability and possesses knowledge of hotel products, rates, and any special programs as well as emergency procedures.
• Handles departmental accounting of guest accounts and other forms of credit, posts all charges completes all reports both pre shift and at end of shift.
• Be knowledgeable in all areas of the Gervasi facilities and the local area.
• Maintains all front desk supplies neat and organized as to department standards set by management.
• Log/Maintain security of equipment, keys, lost and found items and supplies issued each day.
• Reports needed repairs of unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
• Always provides a professional image through appearance and dress in ordinance with the standards set by and for the Gervasi Vineyard employees.
• Always follow company policies and procedures.
