Job summary

Windrose on Hudson, a Riverside Conference Experience, is part of Pyramid Global Hospitality. We are seeking a guest-focused server to deliver food and beverage with warm hospitality, efficiency, and attention to detail in a bustling dining room.

You will greet guests, take orders, explain menu items and accommodate dietary needs while adhering to safety standards. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Point of sales experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly in the dining room and take food orders in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and ingredients; advise on pairings.
• Communicate with back-of-house to ensure accurate orders and accommodations.
• Ensure safe food handling and sanitation standards are followed.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain a clean dining area before and after service; assist with setup for events.
