Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a friendly and efficient server to provide excellent guest service at our travel centers. You will welcome customers, take orders, and ensure accuracy in food and beverage service while promoting daily specials and menu items.

The role requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork across the dining area.

Qualifications

• Welcomes and serves customers courteously, quickly and efficiently.
• Knowledgeable about menu items and daily specials.
• Ability to handle transactions on a POS register with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service to all guests.
• Process customer transactions on the POS system.
• Promote daily specials and menu items to guests.
• Prioritize work according to kitchen and dining needs.
• Follow safety procedures when handling and preparing food.
• Build rapport with leaders and co-workers and communicate effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
