Guest Service Representative at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Pigeon Forge (Administrative)


Job Summary:

The position of Guest Services Representative is responsible for checking Inn guests in and out of their rooms. They are responsible for ensuring that every single guest has an enjoyable experience at the Inn. A few of the main duties of a Guest Service Agent are greeting guests at the front desk, answering any questions, answering any phone calls, and recommending activities, shopping venues, and restaurants to guests.


General Responsibilities:

  1. Provide warm welcome and great service to all guests.
  2. Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
  3. Manage online and phone reservations.
  4. Communicate with the housekeeping and facilities departments to ensure prompt responses to guests' needs.
  5. Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests' needs.

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Use hotel software systems as per Aatmos Standard Operating Procedures.
  2. Provide exceptional service to all guests at all times.
  3. Convert and upsell walk-in guests by informing guests of the property's value.
  4. Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.
  5. Register guests collecting necessary information (i.e., contact details and exact dates of their stay).
  6. Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms.
  7. Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
  8. Respond to clients' complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  9. Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
  10. Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
  11. Report any accidents or injuries to senior management staff immediately.
