Job Summary:

The position of Guest Services Representative is responsible for checking inn guests in and out of their rooms. They ensure that every guest has an enjoyable experience at the inn. Key duties include greeting guests at the front desk, answering questions, managing phone calls, and recommending activities, shopping venues, and restaurants.

General Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a warm welcome and excellent service to all guests.
  2. Perform all check-in and check-out procedures.
  3. Manage online and phone reservations.
  4. Communicate with housekeeping and facilities departments to promptly address guests' needs.
  5. Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to meet guest needs.

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Use hotel software systems according to Atmos Standard Operating Procedures.
  2. Provide exceptional service to all guests at all times.
  3. Inform guests of the property's value and upsell walk-in guests.
  4. Explain payment methods and verify credit card details.
  5. Register guests by collecting contact information and stay dates.
  6. Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms.
  7. Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
  8. Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints.
  9. Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP guests and event attendees, such as wedding parties.
  10. Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
  11. Report any accidents or injuries to senior management immediately.
