Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition
• Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities
• Escorts VIPs to rooms and checks them in prior to arrival
• Answers the telephone within three rings with a smile and handles questions or transfers as needed
• Maintains cash handling procedures, including counting bank at shift start and end, and reports cash variances to management
• Keeps the front desk area clean and organized
• Assists with lobby activation as needed
• Handles guest PPI data with proper procedures
• Follows check‑in/check‑out checklists, obtaining necessary identification and payment upon arrival
• Responds promptly to guest needs and inquiries
• Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

Education and Experience

• Minimum of one year in front desk operations
• In-depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations
• Minimum of high school education

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time‑management skills

The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager interview(s), drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
