Job description

Guest Service Driver

Overview: To transport guests to surrounding areas in Amelia Island, and any other destination within the parameters of the Guest Service Department.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for transporting guests and VIPs.
• Responsible for picking up and dropping off guests from the hotel and nearby locations.
• Coordinates hotel vehicle activity with Valet Captains and Concierge team.
• Notifies the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible.
• Assists guests with luggage when necessary.
• Has knowledge of hotel and outlets hours of operation, can answer guest questions and present a cheerful, knowledgeable, and professional image.
• Ensures cleanliness of Guest Service vehicle.
• Reports maintenance problems with hotel vehicles.
• Transports guests to destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Loads and unloads guests' luggage, ensuring correct luggage is delivered and can lift approximately 50 lbs above the waist.
• Assists with other Guest Service duties such as delivery of items to guest rooms (luggage, faxes, letters, packages, etc.).
• Performs any and all other duties assigned or required by management.

Qualifications

• Tools and Equipment: Hotel vehicle, bell‑stand luggage carts, hand truck.
• Working Environment: Exterior and interior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
