Job summary

Festival Foods in West Allis, WI seeks a friendly Cashier to deliver outstanding guest service at the register and throughout the store. The role requires nights and weekends with availability until 10pm, and you will engage guests, handle transactions, and help the team create a welcoming shopping experience that encourages guests to return.

You’ll process payments, bag items with care, stay informed on promotions, maintain an orderly station, and communicate guest needs to leadership.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to engage with guests.
• Retail sales and transaction handling experience.
• Clear communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to read, count and write accurately for transactions.
• Ability to operate checkout equipment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests in friendly conversations, make eye contact, and ensure guests feel welcome.
• Scan items, process sales, and handle transactions accurately.
• Bag items with care to preserve product condition during transport.
• Stay informed about promotions to assist guests effectively.
• Keep register station neat and stocked with supplies.
• Relay guest requests to Guest Services leadership to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain quality standards during peak times like 10 am and 5 pm.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
• Attend shifts reliably with notice to arrange replacements when needed.
