Job summary

Towne Park is seeking a Guest Service Captain to orchestrate the service experience for hotel guests, working with coworkers to meet or exceed site service standards. Under the direction of the Account Manager, the Captain handles coordination, administration, and troubleshooting when the manager is not on-site, but is not a manager themselves.

The role requires welcoming guests, assisting with bell services, directions and reservations, and maintaining knowledge of the facility.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required
• Work Experience: Six (6) months related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Skills: Must be able to drive manual transmission; Must be able to speak, read and write Standard English; Good communication and customer service skills
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math and cash handling abilities

Responsibilities

• Maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, client staff members and coworkers.
• Acknowledges and greets guests within 30 seconds of arrival to create favorable first and last impressions.
• Effectively participates in “The Show” and delivers “Aggressive Hospitality” to guests.
• Addresses guests using the appropriate greeting for the site.
• Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests; checks in arriving guests and explains parking and retrieval procedures; parks and retrieves vehicles; handles guest concerns respectfully.
• Promotes a teamwork philosophy and leads the work group in delivering high levels of guest service.
• Issues claim checks, collects keys, and completes ticket information with accuracy.
• Ensures privacy and HIPAA-related safety in handling guest information.
• Assists Account Manager with scheduling and communications; handles cash drops and shift reports.
