Position Title: Guest Services Associate

Reports to: Store Manager

Schedule: Part Time (25 hours or less per week); may work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift

Pay Range: $12.50/hr - $14.50/hr

Position Description:

The primary responsibility of a Guest Services Associate at United Dairy Farmers is to provide outstanding service to every Guest by following the five phases of The Hi Five Guest Experience (Invited, Welcomed, Well-Served, Respected, Fulfilled). The Guest Services Associate is responsible for following company policy to ensure the safe and efficient operation of his or her shift, carrying out job duties ethically, and complying with all laws, regulations, and company policies.

Essential Functions:

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience by greeting Guests warmly, preparing store for guests, anticipating needs, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Prepare DipSide items such as shakes, malts, ice cream cones, sundaes, and sodas.
• Operate Point of Sale and Gas Console systems accurately, handle transactions, and control gas sales.
• Stock shelves, displays, freezers, and ensure proper product rotation and presentation.
• Maintain store security, monitor guest activity, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety, monitor equipment temperatures, and perform maintenance as needed.
• Complete accurate records and reports as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Effective communication in English.
• Ability to operate store equipment, handle transactions, and recognize denominations.
• Ability to move and lift merchandise, tolerate cold temperatures, and perform physical tasks such as lifting at least 10 pounds and placing packages in freezers.
