Job summary

Global Partners LP in Milford, CT is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences while handling store tasks. You will greet guests, operate POS, replenish stock and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced retail setting.

You must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, with basic computer skills and reliable transportation. The role includes safety compliance and vendor coordination as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store and complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards and manage cash/lottery/tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Replenish products and communicate guest or vendor needs to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Support gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may only use OSHA approved knives.

Our Guest Service Associate will be responsible for driving top notch guest experience while facilitating the completion of all store-level tasks.

Your Role, Your Impact

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.

Pay Range$18.13 - $21.34

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
