Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience while supporting store-level tasks. You will greet guests, process transactions, maintain safety and store standards, and help ensure products are in stock.

Flexibility is required to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role demands basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc).
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store (selling floor, stock area, register).
• Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale according to corporate standards; maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to keep in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns with store management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned by management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Description:

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors must be able to use OSHA approved knives

N/A Pay Range: $11.00 - $14.00 The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
