Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Chesapeake, VA to deliver a top-notch guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, operate the POS, ensure cash and inventory accuracy, complete housekeeping, and assist with stocking.

Flex hours (days, nights, weekends, holidays) are required. We offer competitive pay, health/dental/vision/Life, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement after six months of service.

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends and/or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Able to access all areas of the store (selling floor, stock, register).
• Ability to count, read and write accurately for paperwork.
• Support new hire onboarding and training.

Our Guest Service Associate will be responsible for driving top notch guest experience while facilitating the completion of all store-level tasks.

Your Role, Your Impact

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.

Pay Range

$12.77 - $15.77

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
