Job summary

Busch’s is a family-owned premier grocery retailer in Michigan seeking friendly team members to join our Pinckney store. Starting wage up to $14.50/hr with experience, with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will bag groceries, assist guests with purchases, stock areas, keep restrooms clean, and provide hospitality. No education or previous experience is required; strong communication and a willingness to help guests are essential.

• Proficient communication skills, including written, verbal and listening skills.
• Proficient cleaning abilities to meet visual standards.

Responsibilities

• Bag guest groceries following Busch’s bagging procedures and guest requests.
• Determine carry out or drive up needs and assist guests in taking purchase to their vehicles.
• Assist guests with questions, purchases and locating product.
• Retrieve carts from parking lot.
• Maintain bottle return area.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Empty trash.
• Respond to and clean up spills and broken merchandise
• Return items left behind to their proper location.
• Stock bags on lanes.
• Miscellaneous cleaning functions as assigned.
• Adhere to all Busch’s policies, practices and procedures.
• Build strong working relationships with guests, vendors and associates.
• Exemplify key concepts of hospitality when interacting with guests.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment where time-sensitive processes may contribute to elevated levels of stress.
