Job Description for Guest Service Agent w/Night Audit at Sonesta International Hotels

The Guest Services Agent (GSA) is responsible for delivering excellent service that supports the hotel’s mission and success. Key responsibilities include managing front desk operations, guest relations, and serving as the primary contact for guests during their shift. The GSA represents the brand to all entering guests and handles various guest services and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Sonesta Service standards in all guest interactions.
  • Register guests, issue room keys, provide hotel information, and answer inquiries courteously.
  • Process cash and credit transactions accurately, manage deposits, and secure financial information.
  • Book and modify reservations, upsell rooms to enhance revenue.
  • Coordinate with team members and management to ensure seamless service.
  • Fulfill guest requests and ensure high-quality delivery of services.
  • Comply with health, safety, and alcohol service laws.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Good communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Opera preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
