A Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and ensuring outstanding guest service and profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Agent, your responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests, completing registration, inputting and retrieving information, confirming details, assigning rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, and guiding guests to their rooms.
  • Assisting guests with check-out, managing payments, processing credit/debit cards, handling foreign currency, and issuing receipts and gift certificates.
  • Having thorough knowledge of hotel services, room categories, rates, packages, local area, and answering guest inquiries.
  • Using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
  • Responding to guest requests, resolving issues promptly, and handling complaints effectively.
  • Receiving, relaying, and managing guest messages.
