Guest Service Agent (Part-Time) - Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame (Finance)

The Embassy Suites by Hilton, located in the vibrant Eddy Street Commons, is looking to add a Part-Time Guest Service Agent to their Front Office team.

What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your tasks will include:

  1. Greeting guests, completing the registration process, inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest details and room rates, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing welcome packets, and guiding guests to their rooms.
  2. Assisting guests with check-out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for, handling payments, processing credit and debit cards, accepting various payment methods, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates and cards.
  3. Demonstrating thorough knowledge of hotel information including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area details, and answering guest questions.
  4. Using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize room occupancy.
  5. Responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
  6. Handling guest complaints, conducting research, and negotiating solutions for guest satisfaction.
  7. Receiving, inputting, retrieving, and relaying messages to guests.
