  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.

Job description


  • Conduct front office business, including guest service, record keeping, telephone operations, guest transportation, reservations, and related activities.

  • Ensure overall property appearance and cleanliness are at optimal levels.

  • Perform front desk operations, including greeting guests, handling messages, taking room reservations, responding to inquiries, preparing confirmation letters, and handling special requests.

  • Provide excellent guest service to Team Members and guests.

  • Interpret hotel policies accurately and graciously.

  • Manage daily arrivals and departures, including registering guests, assigning rooms, and checking guests out.

  • Communicate with Bell Attendants and Housekeeping Team Members regarding arrivals, departures, special requests, and room status.

  • Monitor guest needs and respond to requests.

  • Provide accurate accounting of guest bills and follow credit and cash-handling procedures.

  • Maintain familiarity with room locations, room types, rates, and packages.

  • Stay informed about daily hotel and casino activities and meetings.

  • Address guest questions and concerns objectively and graciously.

  • Perform office tasks, including faxing, filing, copying, processing mail, stuffing brochures, posting, filing charges, and computer data entry.

  • Maintain workstations and common areas for cleanliness, presentation, and guest readiness.

  • Promote and use suggestive selling techniques for the hotel, spa, retail shops, restaurants, casino, and special events.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

  • One year of experience in hotel front desk operations or related guest service experience.

  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred.

  • Intermediate computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.

  • Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.

  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.

  • Native American hiring preference applies.
