Job summary

TC North Shore in Pittsburgh is seeking a Security Guard to help protect guests, team members, and property in a bustling hospitality venue.

You will respond to emergencies, patrol assigned areas, observe for suspicious activity, and document incidents with clear reports. A professional demeanor and reliable availability, including evenings and weekends, are essential. Prior security or hospitality experience is preferred, with basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in security preferred
• Effective communication with guests, team members and management
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
• No criminal convictions requiring registration
• Experience or training in ID checks, incident reporting, CPR preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly
• Patrol assigned areas to maintain order and safety
• Observe and report suspicious activities and enforce venue rules
• Document all incidents with detailed reports
• Notify Security Supervisors of incidents and area checks
• Provide a safe guest experience and support guest satisfaction
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards and present a professional image
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Assist in screening and checkpoints following best practices and safety protocols
• Testify in court as needed
