Job summary

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a sprawling 357-room resort with multiple dining options, pools, and bay views. We are seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee safety operations, respond to emergencies, and guide a security team in delivering 24-hour service across the property.

The role emphasizes strong communication, incident reporting, and leadership in a hospitality setting, while aligning with OSHA standards and resort safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of security experience, preferably in a resort, hospitality, or customer service environment.
• At least 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, emergency response procedures, incident investigations, and safety regulations.
• Experience monitoring CCTV, alarm systems, electronic key control, and access control systems.
• Ability to lead, train, coach, and motivate a team of Security Officers while maintaining high performance standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare detailed incident and investigation reports.
• Strong conflict-resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to remain calm during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to guest and employee emergencies as they arise.
• Complete incident reports and supervise the security team.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and promote safe work practices.
• Support 24-hour security services to the resort.
