Job summary

Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is seeking a Security Officer to protect assets and provide a safe environment for guests and employees. You will patrol the property, respond to incidents, escort individuals as needed, and cooperate with law enforcement when required.

The role requires a high school diploma, guest-contact experience, and the ability to obtain Nevada Gaming and safety certifications. You must be able to work any shift in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in a role with direct guest contact.
• Preference for police, military, or casino security background.
• Able to obtain Nevada Gaming Card, AES, First Aid & CPR certifications.
• Must be able to work any day and any shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and fellow employees.
• Gives directions and escorts customers in need.
• Provides assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court and other hearings.
• Makes chip fills and jackpot verifications.
• Regularly escorts money and persons in money-handling positions; provides first aid including CPR.
• Patrols all sections of property to identify safety hazards and security breaches; interviews, investigates and documents incidents.
• Makes lost and found detailed descriptions of people and incidents.
• Enforces all company policies and procedures.
• Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to regulations and policies.
