Job summary

Eurest is hiring for a part-time Waitstaff role in Ontario. You will take food and beverage orders, deliver items to guest rooms, and support dining operations in a fast-paced hotel or institutional setting.

The position pays $18.95 per hour and requires a minimum of one year in food service plus Smart Serve certification. You will be expected to maintain high standards of service, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a food service environment.
• Current Smart Serve certification as required by Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter dining area and provide immediate attention.
• Answer the phone professionally for reservations and room service orders.
• Communicate shift progress to the supervisor on duty.
• Ensure organization of side stations and storage areas.
• Serve meals to guests in their rooms.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per specs.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain restaurant seating and cleanliness of areas.
• Assist with orienting new staff.
• Participate in quality, service, and productivity programs.
