Job summary

Shaner Group in Madeira Beach, FL is seeking a hospitality professional to supervise and train Guest Room Attendants and Housepersons. You will ensure cleaning quality across rooms, corridors, and service areas, while following safety rules and hotel procedures.

You will also handle guest complaints to maintain satisfaction and perform seasonal cleaning tasks as needed. The role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays, with duties including housekeeping, laundry, and related functions

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and inspect the performance of assigned Guest Room Attendants and Housepersons, ensuring procedures meet hotel standards.
• Assist as needed to ensure optimum guest service.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Ensure all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures are followed.
• Handle guest complaints and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness standards across guest rooms, corridors, and service areas.
• Perform deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and/or houseperson functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
