Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Room Inspector in Pullman, WA, to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet high cleanliness standards. You will report to the Executive Housekeeper and support the housekeeping department in maintaining hotel quality and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years in housekeeping or similar, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. Proficiency with housekeeping software and Microsoft Office is expected; weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in housekeeping or related hotel role.
• Experience inspecting and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and guests.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness meets hotel standards.
• Report deficiencies and follow up to ensure corrections are made.
• Monitor cleanliness in event spaces, storage rooms, restrooms, and offices.
• Manage guest feedback and service scores related to housekeeping.
• Report status of guestrooms to the front desk.
• Assist in inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment.
• Participate in ordering supplies to maintain inventory.
• Perform daily checks of vacant rooms and public spaces.
• Maintain departmental key control for security.
• Ensure deep cleaning programs are executed on schedule.
• Address guest or housekeeping-related issues promptly.
