Job summary

HOME2 SUITES - BALTIMORE/ABERDEEN is seeking a Rooms Inspector to monitor guest room cleanliness and public areas, ensuring operations align with budget guidelines and brand standards. The role emphasizes hospitality, guest satisfaction, and teamwork within the housekeeping department.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to work with a team, and the discretion to protect guest privacy, with access to guestrooms and property per policy. Security clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities.
• Security clearances may be required.
• Honesty and trustworthiness essential; pass appropriate security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Housekeeping Team activities, assign times, check rooms, and clock in/out.
• Maintain key control and security for guests and associates.
• Assist with inventories, ordering, receiving, and maintenance of supplies.
• Clean vacant rooms to guest-ready status and return occupied rooms to clean status per standards.
• Follow cleaning procedures outlined in training and checklist.
• Report discrepancies to Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness in other areas of the hotel (breakroom, restrooms, public areas).
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Understand and follow emergency procedures for guest safety.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
