Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for an on-site role at a hotel property in Independence, MO. You will clean guest rooms, make beds, change linens, clean bathrooms, and perform dusting and vacuuming to create a welcoming atmosphere.

You will also maintain public areas, manage supplies, report maintenance issues, assist with laundry, and respond promptly to guest requests while respecting privacy and security protocols. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and products.

Responsibilities

• Room cleaning and bed making, linen changes, bathroom cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas like lobbies and corridors.
• Manage supplies and request replenishments when needed.
• Report maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
• Assist with laundry duties including washing and folding linens.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for towels or toiletries.
• Respect guest privacy and secure room keys per security protocols.
• Ensure rooms meet cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Participate in department meetings and be flexible with duties.
