Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper for an on-site role at our Quincy, IL hotel. The position involves cleaning guest rooms to exacting standards, maintaining public areas, restocking supplies, and promptly addressing guest requests to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

Strong organizational skills, physical stamina, and the ability to lift and bend are essential. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, though on-site training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and products.

Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and dusting and vacuuming.
• Public Areas: Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, and common spaces.
• Supplies Management: Ensure cleaning supplies and amenities are stocked and replenish as needed.
• Report Maintenance Issues: Report issues in guest rooms or public areas for quick resolution.
• Lost and Found: Follow procedures for lost and found items.
• Laundary Service: Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
• Guest Requests: Respond to guest requests for towels or toiletries promptly.
• Privacy and Security: Respect guest privacy and handle room keys securely.
• Quality Standards: Ensure rooms and areas meet cleanliness standards.
