Job summary

Hotel Winters in Winters, California is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean guest rooms and public areas to our high standards. You will restock amenities, assist guests, and maintain a clean, safe environment throughout the property.

Requirements include a High School diploma, basic cleaning knowledge, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits through Hotel Equities.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, products and equipment.
• Ability to read instructions and written material with sufficient vision.
• Must have upper body strength to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Dexterity to push, pull and move cleaning equipment and furniture.
• Ability to work with arms raised above head during shifts.
• Experience with ladders, carts and cleaning supplies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans guest rooms and public areas to established cleanliness standards.
• Restocks towels, amenities and literature for arriving guests.
• Vacuums rooms, hallways and public spaces including under furniture.
• Inspects locks, room equipment and reports maintenance needs promptly.
• Assists other departments and provides friendly guest service.
