Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs is seeking a Hotel Room Attendant to maintain exceptional cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas. You will vacuum, dust, restock supplies, strip and change linens, and ensure brand standards are met.

This role requires physical stamina, reliable attendance, and the ability to work with a team during peak hours. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high cleanliness and presentation in Guest rooms.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently clean rooms and manage tasks within allotted time frames.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the housekeeping department.
• Basic communication skills to report issues to supervisors and interact with Guests.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, scrub, mop, and clean carpets and flooring in Guest rooms.
• Dust, polish, and vacuum furniture, glass, mirrors, curtains, framed pictures, appliances, and other fixtures.
• Scrub, disinfect, and deodorize showers and bathrooms.
• Strip beds, collect dirty linens, and make beds with fresh linens.
• Replenish linens, towels, amenities, and other supplies in Guest rooms.
• Stock carts daily with supplies.
• Strip Guest rooms of all soiled linen and used towels.
• Notify the Supervisor of any incidents or conflicts that affect normal business operations or Guest services.
• Assist with the arrival of the laundry truck and transport clean products to storage areas.
