Job summary

The St. Joe Company is seeking a Room Attendant for WaterSound Inn in Watersound, FL to maintain guest rooms to the highest cleaning standards and ensure privacy and security of guests' spaces.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, bed-making, linen replacement, bathroom sanitation, and restocking amenities while complying with company procedures. Previous hospitality experience is valued, and a professional attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Previous hospitality experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a combination of check-out and stay-over cleaning services daily
• Turn on lights and prepare the room for cleaning
• Remove and replace linens; prepare and make beds
• Clean and tidy bathrooms; clean and disinfect all surfaces
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust furniture
• Stock amenities and fresh towels
• Remove trash and disposable clutter; collect and turn in any items left by guests according to company procedures
• Ensure the security and privacy of guest rooms
• Perform rotation cleaning duties as required
• Complete deep cleans when and as directed
• Ensure the room meets company standards
• Assist with any other reasonable requests
• Perform all other duties as assigned
