Job summary

Stonebridge in Watertown, MA seeks a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards. Weekend and holiday availability is required. This role reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and offers competitive benefits.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, restocking supplies, and following safety protocols. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or room cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Follow safety guidelines and hotel cleaning standards.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high cleanliness levels.
• Good time management to complete tasks within time frames.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and other areas per standards.
• Vacuum carpets, clean upholstery and draperies with approved equipment.
• Empty trash, transport waste to disposal areas.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Replenish guest supplies and restock linens and amenities.
• Keep carts and storage areas stocked, clean, and organized.
• Use hotel-approved cleaning chemicals and follow safety protocols.
• Sort and organize linens in designated areas.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; wax/polish as needed.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces with germicides.
• Report found items or damages to supervisors.
• Maintain ability to clean a set number of rooms per day.
