Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, inviting guestrooms and deliver attentive service to guests in our Boise, Idaho properties.

This full-time, on-site role offers hourly compensation and a benefits package including health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave, plus employee assistance and tuition reimbursement. The position requires physical stamina and a customer-focused approach to uphold Highgate's standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or hotel experience preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties and restock supplies for housekeeping cart.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Restock cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs and assist with Lost and Found handling.
