Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Bloomington is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to Hilton standards, ensuring comfort and cleanliness for guests. You will greet guests, change linens, replenish towels, report repairs, and support lobby and housekeeping duties as needed.

This role requires standing, lifting up to 20 pounds, and adherence to safety guidelines. Applicants should have a high school diploma and prior housekeeping experience or training, and must understand English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms to standards within the allotted time using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities as needed.
• Polish furniture and fixtures; dust walls, furniture and equipment.
• Notify managers about repairs in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms per lost-and-found policy.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment; adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties during peak periods or when short-staffed.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction scores and overall department performance.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
