Job summary

Sleep Inn Hotel in Joplin, located on the grounds of the 44 Petro Truckstop, is hiring housekeepers for the 8a-3p shift. Starting at $15.50+ per hour, on-site duties include cleaning guest rooms, stocking amenities, and maintaining common areas with a friendly, guest-focused attitude.

Applicants should be physically able to stand/walk most of the shift, push a cleaning cart, lift 20–25 lbs, and interact daily with guests and staff. Weekend/holiday flexibility is required for a 24-hour operation.

Qualifications

• Remove and replace soiled linens and prepare rooms neatly for guest arrivals
• Organize and replenish guestroom amenities
• Ability to stand and walk 90% of the time while servicing rooms
• Required to push cleaning cart and operate vacuums
• Ability to push or lift approximately 20 to 25 lbs.
• Ability to deal effectively and interact daily with the customers and employees.
• We are 24-hour establishment. This employee must have flexible work hours and must be willing to work weekends and holidays if requested.
